In residence from August 22 to September 3, 2022
Commissioned by Works & Process at the Guggenheim, this project will be in residence on the grounds and in the studios of Chautauqua Institution for a two-week period. An integral part of the residency is building community, interacting on and off the stage, and doing the hustle!
Guests of all ages are invited to participate in any one or all of the residency activities. No previous experience needed – this is for YOU. Do the Hustle wishes to provide a transformational experience by presenting a program containing three consecutive segments — an interactive performance; a dance class; and a dance party — and a suggested dress code for audience members : ‘disco era re-invented’. Let’s do it – become a Hustle Dancer or simply celebrate in community!
